Frequently asked questions

Review our criteria, intake steps, and house guidelines to determine if SORR is the right fit for your recovery journey.

Who is the ideal fit for our recovery residence?

SORR is suited for adults who are committed to maintaining an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle within a structured community. Residents may be transitioning from a clinical treatment program, rebuilding life after active substance use, or seeking an environment that supports personal stability and long-term sobriety.

What are the core requirements to join the home?

All residents must remain entirely drug- and alcohol-free, respect house expectations and peers, contribute to maintaining a clean and peaceful living space, and demonstrate accountability. Individuals must be capable of independent daily living in a shared environment and actively pursue goals such as employment, recovery meetings, outpatient care, or education.

How does the admission process work?

The process starts with a quick phone intake where we assess your needs, review current bed openings, and discuss house guidelines. If we are a match, we guide you through the application and arrange an in-person tour or interview. We offer same-day placement whenever possible.

What are the monthly fees and room rates?

Rates are $950 per month for a bed in a shared standard bedroom and $1,150 per month for a shared master bedroom with an attached master bath. All rates include high-speed Wi-Fi and utilities. There is also a one-time administrative fee of $200.

What payment schedules are available?

Rent can be paid on a monthly or weekly basis. For residents electing weekly payments, fees must be kept paid one week in advance at all times.

What supportive services are available to residents?

Residents have access to individualized recovery planning, peer support, case management, life-skills coaching, employment and education guidance, and coordination with local behavioral health and healthcare providers.
