Our mission and purpose

SORR provides safe, structured, alcohol- and drug-free recovery housing in California. We are committed to supporting adults on their path toward lasting sobriety, personal dignity, and self-sufficiency.

Building a foundation for recovery

Our purpose is to provide structured and stable environments for persons recovering from the disease of addiction. We set the highest standards to enable personal growth, laying down a solid foundation of development for long-term recovery and helping each resident become a productive member of society.

Person-centered and trauma-informed care

Every journey is unique. Our approach is culturally responsive and grounded in dignity, accountability, stability, and hope. Residents benefit from peer recovery support, individualized recovery planning, and essential life-skills development within an empowering community.

Connecting with community and resources

We bridge the gap between structured living and independence. Through case management, education and employment assistance, and collaboration with behavioral health providers, we equip our residents with the tools they need to maintain lasting recovery.

"SORR gave me the stability, structure, and accountability I needed to rebuild my life and look toward the future with real hope."
